It cracks me up but I don’t actually know whether or not this is funny. Hmm.
Picture is taken from this reddit post.
Chris Rock’s Infinite Joke
Now, this isn’t to imply that all black comedians solely make jokes regarding racial idiosyncrasies, only that some do and it’s an easy joke to make because of it.
TL;DR: I’m mocking racial jokes of this kind, not making one myself.

I call it the “Internet Rollercoaster”.
I made this a while ago, around when the episode originally came out. Couldn’t find something that applied to both reactions well enough, this is my best shot at it.
Here is the exploitable so you too can try.

An image I made during the wikipedia donation drive from a few months ago.
If you recall, wikipedia had banners at the top of every page asking you to donate. Over time, they realized that the banners with Jimmy Wales’ face on it got more clicks. Towards the end almost every page had his obnoxious face staring placidly at you, beseeching you to donate.
This is the first year that I don’t donate, though I do still contribute by editing articles(a lot). I’m concerned with their rising expenses in areas unrelated to the actual wikipedia website. I have a feeling that the much foretold death of wikipedia will be somehow related to this, and not because of a better alternative or any type of volunteer or credibility crisis.

I saw this photo in a “then me now me” collection done by Irina Werning and it lent itself immediately to exploitation.
I’m not done with it, this is but my crudest and quickest attempt. I apologize to you, Damian.

Made this in half an hour maybe a year ago, submitted it to reddit a month ago. It did well, got a couple hundred thousands views, which kind of surprised me. Things I make generally never do well when I submit them, so I delete the submission and forget about it. Sometimes I’m pleasantly surprised to see them on the front page, submitted by others weeks or months later after making the rounds on 4chan and so on.
My conclusion: reddit is a strange place, full of dark mojo and mysterious unfathomable voodoo.
Anyway, I followed the link around this time and it was an interesting experience to see something I made propagate organically through the internet.
Depending on the time it gets posted, reddit submissions usually last at most around 1 day in the spotlight. At 20 hours this submission had about 200k views, whereupon it plateaued. Over the next 2 weeks it slowly got another 100k, mostly from being reposted in forums and on twitter. Since it got rehosted a bunch of times that I saw, it might have gotten many more than that.
I realized later that if I had replaced “reddit” with “the internet” it probably would have been picked up by many more websites and gotten significantly more views. Not that I care enough to do it myself and repost it, so whatever. Like my retarded cousin Philip used to say, hindsight is twenty twenty twenty twenty twenty…
He really liked saying that word, he did (sniff).
